This is a blog dedicated to helping bring our lost dog home.
On Saturday night, June 11th, Liz, our one and a half year old rescue lab mix, went with her family to Blowin' Smoke (located at 514 Martin Luther King Junior Boulevard) for dinner at 8pm. Upon arrival, the band on the patio started playing loud music, which scared her tremendously. In a fit of anxiety, she managed to slip her head through her collar and took off down Montgomery Street, headed downtown. We chased her for as long as possible, but lost her on Liberty Street. She was last seen heading South around the intersection of Barnard and Liberty.
Liz is about 55 lb and has fluffy black fur, with a texture like that of a Chesapeake Bay Retriever. She is extremely sweet and we miss her very much. Please share this blog with as many people as you can think of in an effort to help her get home. She does not have a collar on her, but she is microchipped, so we are just praying that whoever finds her brings her to animal control. If you have ANY information on her whereabouts, please call (912) 856-3857 or (912) 704-9217. We are offering a reward for her safe return.
Thank you for all of your help! We miss you and love you Lamby!!!
